Contribute to Jabbithole and get the client / addonJabbithole, like other similar sites grows its database with the assistance of the player community. An unobtrusive addon collects in-game information as you play, and the result of this is merged together with the existing data.
If you would like to contribute (and we kindly ask you to do so) please install our convenient client application that automates updating the addon and uploading of collected data. The application requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 on your machine, but the installer takes care of the dependencies. Once ready, the application will look like this:
Fire and forget! Just tick the "Start automatically" checkbox and Jabbithole will start when you boot and take care of your addon installation and data upload on its own. In this mode the client will sit in your taskbar notification area.
But if you love to do things manually:
Use the button in the "Jabbithole addon" row to install or update the client addon.
Use the button in the "Data collected" row to upload your collected data.
You don't need to launch the client every time you play WildStar, every few days or once a week is sufficient. The addon will warn you if there is a lot of data waiting to be uploaded.
Alternatively, if you don't want to install a Windows application you can download the standalone addon and extract the zip file into your addons folder at:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar\Addons\Jabbithole. The zip file itself already contains the Jabbithole folder.
Once you feel you collected enough data please send us the following file as a zipped attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar\AddonSaveData\Jabbithole_0_Gen.xml. Once sent, the file can be deleted and the addon will start to collect data into a fresh file.
NEW: you can upload your collected data directly via the website on your profile page if you create a JH account!
Currently only English clients are supported, but we welcome other languages as well, support for those will be incorportated at a later time.
